Read through the supporting evidence on this Page!

Welcome to the Discovery Page!

Here is where you will find all supporting documents that Daniel has discovered that points to potential abuses in the system and possible corruption by the Portland (AHFE) and its partner agencies.

Daniel has reported an attack on his life and no one is investigating this potential attempted murder case. There is evidence in his emails and HMIS data that point to corruption, conspiracy, attempted murder, illegal use of personally identifying data, negligence, and suppression of a person's constitutional rights!

PLEASE READ! DANIEL NEEDS LEGAL REPRESENTATION! please email danielstreetroots@gmail.com

The Oregon Department of Justice still hasn't replied back to me but once now...What is going on in Portland???? I only attached Fred Boss's email to my correspondence to the AHFE but a Mr. Doug Pearson replied, obviously Fred Boss or someone from his office notified Mr. Pearson to respond that way. I still have heard nothing about the report I made regarding the attempt on my life and I even walked down to the Oregon Department of Justice myself, they just sent down an office manager to try and shew me away. If anyone can help, please contact me! danielstreetroots@gmail.com

Is Trimet profiling people who are homeless, disabled and activist?
Why didn't TPI report or show Daniel their video evidence but instead quickly kicked him out of the shelter! Read the below emails!
It wasn't just Daniel's Rights Being suppressed! SHAC tried to solve Chad's issue as well however TPI didn't respond and Kicked him out into the cold!

note: Daniel is a follower of the way, not any one sect but instead he believes in every branch of Christianity and that it should be the job of Church Leaders to collect every seed of truth from each division and water them so we can all grow collectively uniting all things back to he who created them.  Acts 4:34

What Happened at the River District Navigation Center?

It's really hard for me to revisit this but after about 30 days of living in the shelter I filed grievances on behalf of the disabled people and myself staying in the shelter regarding a new and unfair bathroom policy TPI enforced on us,  My personally identifiable information came up missing in the HMIS system that Transition Projects Inc. uses to track and record data on the homeless. I believe they were concerned about a potential lawsuit so they went through my intake data and noticed they didn't have a hard copy of my waiver of liability on file. One of the shelter managers came up to me and told me I needed to fill a new packet out so I asked, "Why?". He said they didn't have one on file. Concerned about my personal data I said I don't believe that I have to file it again since it seems you lost my sensitive information already with my ss# and date of birth etc. This manager then told me that if I didn't fill it out again that I have to leave the shelter immediately. I knew my rights and I knew he was in the wrong for saying that and I told him I recommend him call his boss and tell him I have a grievance filled and you are threatening to kick me out because your company lost my sensitive data and won't sign a waiver of liability. He took my advice and told me I could stay in the shelter until I talk to his boss, who was out of town. I filed another grievance because of my lost data, I believe it was negligent of them to lose my sensitive data, and the fact that the manager used coercion and threats to intimidate me to sign another intake packet I believe they broke the law and federal HMIS guidelines. This all freaked me out, I have been trying to start a new life away from the trouble back home and didn't want people to be able to find me. After days of the TPI staff hassling me and making me feel uncomfortable about not signing a new waiver of liability the boss finally sent me an email saying I wasn't going to get kicked out, way to late as damage had already been done.

This all prompted me to start talking to the other shelter residents. It didn't take long for me to figure out that almost everyone had similar grievances and complaints regarding their treatment not just at the RDNC but at all the providers of homeless services in Portland. It was also clear that many of these providers had internal grievances processes that had no incentive for the provider itself to try and resolve the grievances filed by participants as that may be viewed as an admission of guilt. I saw that these reciprocating types of internal grievance procedures were just a way to limit participants from exercising their rights. I saw two problems here- 1) Participants (homeless citizens) were largely misinformed about what their rights are and how to exercise them properly or to outside channels like HUD, or the Department of Justice. 2) There was no mechanism in place to hold providers accountable to treating people fairly when it comes to their rights as citizens. This lead me to be active at the shelter, creating forms, teaching people about their rights and ultimately creating the Sheltered Homeless Advocacy Coalition, which just began with a few of us residents at the RDNC. My intentions were to assist providers in creating better programs rather that using coercive tactics to keep people in line so to speak. TPI grew increasingly impatient with me during this time and treated me in a very suspicious way that made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. After TPI failed to respond to several grievances I filed on behalf of myself and others at the shelter it was clear TPI had it out for me, even though my behavior and example at the shelter was exemplary, they kicked me out for merely taking a smoke break early one morning, even though I asked permission from one employee and was told by another on a previous day that I had that time as a privilege already, the shift manager made a note that I had used up my allotted time and should be kicked out. They threw me out the next day into the cold with zero provisions, didn't even offer me food to take with me. The worst of this is that myself and 3 other members of SHAC and Shelter residents had just met earlier that day with the Mayor's Advisor to Homelessness who we aired our grievances to and asked for changes in the shelter policies. The Mayor never responded to us on our requests and I was thrown out of the shelter to scare any one else away from participating in the SHAC. These actions I believe violate the Anti-Slapp Statute however I couldn't find one lawyer in Portland who would didn't have a conflict of interest because many of the lawyers in Portland are connected to the AHFE and the billions of dollars of HUD public funding that has been coming into Portland. This is what turned a humble street poet who has a powerful sense of spirituality into a Homeless Rights Activist fighting for Justice for the Poor as my bible tells me to do.

Read The Below Email...Daniel is NOT after money! He Just wants to use his lived experience and offer solutions based off of his personal experiences being Homeless!
Did  CCC's Old Town Clinic try to cover up the excessive force used by Portland Police when they arrested Daniel outside the County Courthouse, maybe not, but who can blame me for being suspicious?

"I went to see the Doctor at Old Town Clinic and told her my heart felt fine and didn't feel sick at all but I have been experiencing intense pain in my back since I was roughed up by police a few months ago, I told her it felt like I had a broken rib but on my back side. She felt around and agreed that that may be the case and sent me to get a chest x-ray. When I got the results from Providence (who by the way treated me very well), the orders the doctor at Old Town Clinic made regarding my chest didn't seem to point the radiologist to look at my back rib cage at all. I looked up all the medical terms right after and was really upset, I may be completely wrong and never would want to hurt the career of a good doctor helping the poor but with all the abuse and corruption I've seen and been going through (which I did tell the doctor about and she just looked at me like I was crazy and suggested a mental health check up), I just decided to not follow up and try my best to deal with the pain, I've always had a high tolerance for pain and when you're homeless you learn to just accept these things." Daniel is no stranger to excessive force by Law Enforcement.
"Once I was arrested by a Florida Law Enforcement Agency in Pinellas County. Sitting at a nice Hotel Bar with a Friend who said her uncle paid for a hotel room and waiting for the Hotel Manager to clarify an issue we had with the taxi cab driver that drove us there from their sister hotel, law enforcement officers came in armed to the teeth wearing full tactical gear, came in screaming and yelling, before we had time to respond, my co-defendant, a 100 lb. young woman was tasered twice and I was tackled and handcuffed. I was then railroaded by the public defenders office. who told me there was video but it didn't show the excessive force on me just my co-defendant, who's charges were dismissed. The Public Defender had already made a deal with the DA and I believe lied to me just to make me take the plea. If I had it to do over again I would definitely bring a law suit, but thank God that is in my past."

Is this why Portland Police Department and that Marshal beat me up outside the Court house, I've filed a grievance but still haven't heard from the actual Police Department? Is Florida and Oregon working together to try and stop Justice from happening? Only time will tell but I'd like to think these are isolated cases because I have met some very nice Police here in Portland.
